Welcome to Our Neighborhood
The RillitoBend Neighborhood Association (RBNA) is committed to protecting and enhancing this special place with its rich artistic heritage and unique riparian environment.
We are advocates for all residents. We work with the City on issues that impact us, from stormwater management, safety, security, traffic, land use and more. Our partnership with the Ward 3 Office and the City of Tucson remains strong.
We are a conduit for neighbors to communicate news and stories that impact us. We write and design an annual newsletter (mailed to all residents courtesy of the City—see below). We send emails of importance to those who have signed up to our list serve. (Think about signing up if you have not already—see below.) We bring neighbors together to support issues that we care about.
We work to beautify our neighborhood, often following the lead of neighbors who are passionate, too. Our streets have been enhanced by the work of many volunteers who have designed and installed plants and rocks—even a 34' long mosaic mural. Work is ongoing, and we are always looking for volunteers.
We are the archivists for the neighborhood. Our institutional knowledge of the neighborhood's historical past has informed city officials. Many who move here remain here.
Our website is full of information. The header topics--ABOUT US, OUR VISION, NEWS/EVENTS, RIO VISTA PARK, HISTORY, NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS, RESOURCES, GALLERY and our blog RILLITOBEND RAMBLES—can be accessed by clicking on their names above. Check us out!
